From the artist: "Whitetail deer run up to 40 mph, a good thing as they are hunted by every sizable carnivore in the United States, including humans! I love catching sight of these beasties as they run off, white tails flagging like a metronome. I chose to depict the deer in a dramatic nocturne, a star-studded “Montana Big Sky” as the backdrop." - NDC
